rex inc. press will open for contest submissions through Duosuma on July 15, 2026. Entry fees are $25, or $75 if you would like editorial feedback on your manuscript.
We accept a variety of fiction, non-fiction, poetry. You will be asked to attach a .docx or PDF file to your submission with no personal information included within the attachment.
Please submit only unpublished work and notify us if your simultaneous submission is accepted elsewhere.
Payment for the contest winners will be $100,000 each (with one winner for each genre), and a standard royalty publication contract with rex inc. press.
If you choose the editorial feedback option, you will receive detailed editorial feedback about your manuscript from a real person—no AI used.

$100,000 rexius Fiction Prize 2027
Please submit a novel (full manuscript), novel (first three chapters), short story collection (full manuscript), or short story collection (first three stories) for consideration.
$100,000 rexius Nonfiction Prize 2027
Please submit a book-length nonfiction work, or the first three chapters of a nonfiction work for consideration.
$100,000 rexius Poetry Prize 2027
Please submit a full-length collection of poems for consideration. The minimum number of pages is 48.
Please submit between July 15, 2026 -Dec 31st, 2026 (11:59pm) to be considered for our 2027 contests.
