rex inc. | is a literary press and a print-based literary magazine. We seek fiction, non-fiction, poetry, visual art and photography which surprise and contest our understanding of storytelling.
Dirk Marple
Dirk Marple is an artist and writer living in Decorah, Iowa. His/Their work explores history, personal narratives, and the working class. He holds an MFA in creative nonfiction writing from Columbia College Chicago. His creative work has appeared in Columbia Poetry Review, Midwestern Gothic, Cutleaf Journal, and Action, Spectacle. He is a 2017 Chicago Luminarts Fellow.
